Adventure Playground Ready and Waiting

The all-abilities adventure playground located next to Rise ‘n Shine Café will re-open after lockdown.

After much anticipation, the community is ecstatic to have a local, safe space for their children to play and enjoy. With plenty of parking nearby and a local ice cream station on-site, the playground is ideal for the warmer months and beyond.

Executive Director of Paerata Rise, Chris Johnston, looks forward to seeing the community enjoying the playground, but is monitoring COVID-19 lockdown restrictions closely.

“We have been waiting two years to see this project come to life and now it’s finally here. We’ve had many families mention they can’t wait to check it out, but the health and safety of our people is always our number one priority.”

“The structure has an impressive water play area and multiple zones to choose from, providing an adventure zone to explore and it will still be there to enjoy once lockdown is over.”
