Christmas in Paerata Rise

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions our Light Up The Town 2021 Christmas event has been cancelled.

Executive Director of Paerata Rise, Chris Johnston says it is the right decision in the current circumstances.

“We appreciate the support and understanding of all our community including the residents, build partners, suppliers and supporting acts. It wasn’t a decision we took lightly and the safety of our people is paramount.”

“We look forward to receiving clarity on public event requirements in due course and we hope to see it return again next year.”

Many look forward to coming together and celebrating Christmas festivities at Paerata Rise, so the Paerata Rise residents are putting in a wonderful effort to decorate and keep the Christmas spirit alive in a way that is safe and fun. We look forward to seeing the residents’ home and garden Christmas lights go up around the neighbourhood.
