Green Spaces

Part of the masterplan for Paerata Rise includes big open areas for the community to utilise.

Five hectares of green spaces, cycleways and walkways will make up a large portion of the Paerata Rise Lifestyle block. These stretches will provide our community with the freedom to roam around the nature areas within the town.

Executive Director of Paerata Rise, Chris Johnston, is looking forward to the inclusion of these green spaces.

“We want our community members to have  access to great recreation areas in order for them to stay active and enjoy the outdoors, says Johnston.

“Having large recreational parks within Paerata Rise is important as it will contribute to the overall environmental health and strength of our community.”
