Officially Open for Term Two

Paerata School has officially opened in a brand new location at the northern end of Jonah Lomu Drive.

The doors were opened at the beginning of this term and 350 students have had the opportunity to test out the ultra-modern facilities. The school has the capacity to ultimately grow to 750 children.  The school is only 200m away from the location of the new mega-playground.

Executive Director of Paerata Rise, Chris Johnston, is glad to see the first students at the school.

“It is wonderful to see so many eager young faces, ready to learn at this incredible new facility. Opening day was full of excitement from the students, families, teachers and everyone else involved. We recognise the incredible effort put into the opening and congratulate principal, Luke Thompson, and his team on the milestone.”
