Rise of the playground

A brand new mega playground is under construction at Paerata Rise.

Located in a convenient spot near the Rise ‘n Shine Café, multiple play areas are sure to impress families eager for outdoor activity. The playground has been two years in the planning, and will feature tower slides, water play and plenty of seating.

The safety of children has been a priority during the design process. Rounded edges and soft fall impact mats will go the distance to ensure play is as safe as possible.

Executive Director of Paerata Rise, Chris Johnston, is thrilled to see the installation of the playground is underway.

“We have made an effort to bring our vibrant community to life and give kids of all ages the best of recreational facilities,” says Johnston.

“The playground will be a fantastic addition to developing a real sense of community and a providing safe recreational spaces to facilitate fun interaction.”
