Paerata Rise Railway station

As more call Paerata Rise home, the township infrastructure continues to unfold.

Paerata Railway Station has been the talk of the town, following confirmation of the station by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency in 2021 who has kept the community informed through regular consultation and forum meetings to discuss the proposed rail network expansion plan. The site will be complete with a bus interchange and Park & Ride facilities.

Adjacent to the planned eastern establishment of Paerata Rise, construction will begin in 2022, and will provide locals with yet another option for travel to Auckland CBD, adding capacity for housing and business growth along the southern rail line.
